Judged by an illustrious panel of over 250 global industry leaders—including luminaries like Carlo Ratti, Ma Yansong, and experts from MoMA and the Eames Institute—this double victory serves as a premier benchmark for architectural excellence, firmly placing Stephane Laroye Architect, Naikoon, and BC-based prefabricated mass timber construction on the world map.
This project was a masterclass in what happens when project team values and vision align. Naikoon, as Construction Manager, alongside mass timber leaders Stephane Laroye Architect (SLA) and Kalesnikoff Mass Timber, executed an ambitious on-site prefabrication strategy. Driven by rigorous Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and precision execution, our crews erected the entire superstructure in just six weeks during peak winter conditions.
