Details
From summer BBQ season to the gorgeous fall sunsets, this space is made for entertaining. Think open kitchen and dining areas, plus a great room with a 99 bottle capacity wine wall. A cozy library and home office also allow for a more private atmosphere, while still absorbing the beautiful city below.
A three car garage, with a vehicle lift, allows for easy maintenance and ample parking. It also houses technical equipment, including solar inverters and the Tesla Powerwall 2. Tesla Powerwall is a powerful home battery, in a surprisingly small package, that stores energy from the rooftop solar panels—ideal for those rainy North Vancouver days when the array can’t maximize energy generation.
The house has a 70% better energy rating than the standard home, combining a solar array, high-efficiency appliances, and high-performance design features to achieve Built Green Platinum Certification and Energy Star Certification.
Since bears often wander into residential areas of North Vancouver, our team had to know what to do in case of a visit from our furry friends. This meant adding bear safety and awareness into our weekly safety meetings, and keeping one eye over our shoulder.
