As part of the planned Oceanfront Squamish community, Sp’akw’us Feather Park is situated at the southern tip of the peninsula, with the Mamquam Blind Channel to the east, Cattermole Slough to the west, and the majestic Howe Sound to the south. 11-acres are under development to provide park amenities and improve access for the legion of kite boarders, wind surfers, swimmers, sailors, and general outdoor enthusiasts that frequent the waterway.

The park will contain a wind and water sports beach, a public beach, and an open lawn area. Naturalized plantings will be incorporated to support habitat renewal while existing trails will be enhanced and connected to the greater community trail network. A key component to the park and development is a washroom facility, being built by Naikoon.
